Death is never easy but when it's one who means the world to us it's especially hard.

Although it may be hard to cope with the passing of Douglas and the pain seems unbearable at times please know you are not alone for Psalm 34:18 promises "God is near to those that are broken at heart and those crushed in spirit he saves"

Pray to him for the strength, weep to him when there are no words.

While grief at Douglas' passing is great, joy in welcoming them back in the earthly resurrection will be even greater. God assures us "Your dead will live, Awake and shout joyfully you residents in the dust." Isaiah 26:19

Until that time, may you find comfort in the Bible's future promises and in the" God of all comfort."(1Corinthians 1:3, 4)

Dear Kelly and Family
It's been so many years since Rich and I have seen you and your family but it's like yesterday of fond memories of Douglas. We will never forget our wonderful boating days at Lucky Peak. Douglas was just a young little boy at the time but had the spirt and will of something greater then anyone or anything on earth. We are thinking of you and your family.
Hugs

Kelly, I am so very sorry for the loss of your son. I remember when he was born as I was still working at the BOI counter at the time. Thank goodness for the Plan of Happiness and eternal families. Those truths have gotten us through the loss of our son.....please know you are all in my thoughts and prayers

Whenever I think about Doug, I smile. There are so many memories for me and all of them make me smile. He was one of the favorite memories I have of running the DZ. He loved to be there and everyone there enjoyed his presence. He will be missed, but never forgotten. He made an impact on my life and I thank him for that.

What can be said about Doug that people don't already know... He was the best. Everyday he was out on the field with us, rain or shine, smile on his face, and ready for anything. He was always one of the guys, and will be missed dearly. My condolences to that family; I wish you peace in this time of grief. RIP Dougie!

So many great memories with Doug after I moved to Eagle in 1997. He always had a smile on his face even when Clint and I were probably driving him crazy. Some of the best times of my life were spent watching football and playing games with DougieDoug! I'll miss ya Doug, rest easy my friend, love ya!
