Eugene (Gene) Willman Loosli, born Nov 30, 1952 in Boise, Idaho to Willman & Margurite Loosli of Nampa, Idaho was called home on July 9, 2017 at the age of 64. Gene graduated from Nampa High in 1971, worked a variety of jobs throughout his life at places like Borcherts feed & coal, farming with local farmers & Aluma-Glass for 18 years until his health cause his early retirement. Gene was an active member of the Melba 2nd Ward in Melba, Id. He enjoyed trains, rock hounding, bowling numerous church activities & callings, he was quick with a joke or a story to anyone who would stop & listen, an avid practical joker & his laughter & voice could always be heard loud & proud whenever he spoke. Gene's greatest accomplishments in his life were being the best husband, father, grandfather & friend he could be.
He is survived by his wife Darlene Loosli, his 8 children from his 2 marriages Dauna Miller, Jim Loosli, Shawn Loosli, Colley Loosli, Wendy Cossins, Aimee Loosli-Pitz, Joseph Gentry & Sheena Loosli-Thomson, 21 Grand kids & 5 Great Grand kids, his brother Don Loosli, sisters Debbie Loosli & Penny Stapleton & numerous family & friends. Gene is proceeded in death by his parents Willman & Margurite Loosli, younger brother Mark Loosli, daughter Becky & 6 grandchildren. On a final note, we love you, got you, ha ha, always & forever your loving family.
Memorial Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday, July 28, 2017 in the Melba 2nd Ward LDS Chapel located at 112 Randolph Dr. Melba, Idaho. Arrangements under the direction of Relyea Funeral Chapel.
