Nobuko Bahr

Nobuko Fujihira Bahr passed away quietly on Thursday, July 6, 2017 in Boise, Idaho surrounded by members of her family. Mrs. Bahr was born on November 17, 1928 in Chiba Prefecture, Japan. She met her husband, Arlo, while he was a member of the US Air Force stationed at Shiroi Air Base. Together, they traveled to various places in the world, including Japan, the Philippines and airbases all over the United States. In 1969, they moved to Kenai, Alaska, where Mrs. Bahr was a popular floral designer. Following her husband’s retirement, they moved to Idaho in 1998 to be closer to family. Nobuko was preceded in death by her husband, and is survived by her sons: Alan (Lori) Bahr of Crestline, California, Kelly (Susan) Bahr of Parker, Colorado, and Eric Bahr of Boise, Idaho. Mrs. Bahr had twelve grandchildren and one great granddaughter. Services will be held at the Relyea Funeral Chapel in Boise on Monday, July 10th, with a viewing at 9:30 am and main services at 10:30. Interment and graveside services will be conducted on Tuesday, July 11th, at 2:00 pm, at the Cache Clawson Cemetery in Tetonia, Idaho.
