Simon Mikhail Davis came into this world on August 29, 1996, at St. Luke’s Hospital in Boise, Idaho. He was welcomed with love by his Mother, Virginia Treat, his Father, Jacob A. Davis , his sister, Jazmyne Davis and countless caring family members. 

Simon attended Monroe Elementary, South Jr. High and graduated from Borah High School in 2014. He immediately began college at Boise State University studying Mathematics, with the idea of becoming an Actuary. He took pride in his knowledge and achievements. He worked various service jobs and climbed the ranks to bartending, which he thoroughly enjoyed. 

Simon’s other interests included finding and enjoying new music, always trying to get a laugh, playing video games, BSU football games and Lagoon trips with family, supporting friends and loved ones, and dressing up for any reason. From frog boots with a tie to blue suede shoes and suit coats, he always had his own style.

Simon passed on Wednesday, November 15, in the early morning hours at the age of 21 in his home in Boise. He is survived by his parents, Jake and Virginia, his stepfather Jeremy Treat, his grandparents, Steven E. Davis, Don and Diane Jennings, Gaylord “Bunky” and Shirley Perez, Tongdee Perez, and his siblings, Jazmyne, Mishayla, Lilliana and Alexander, as well as many aunts, uncles and cousins.

Simon’s wishes clearly stated:. “Celebrate my life, do not regret my death. Remember that I love you all so deeply.”

There will be a “Celebration of Life,” with details to follow, and per his wishes and non-judgmental spirit that “anyone, literally anyone should be invited.”
