Thank you to Dorn, Cindy, and the rest of the staff for your kind assistance after the death of my husband. Joe was respectful when he came to get his body, and asked if I would like to be in the room or step outside. Dorn's calm demeanor and sincere interest in helping me through this time of grief was reassuring. Dorn's assistance with procedures and paperwork made it less emotional than I had expected, probably because of his kindness and respect developed over his many years in this sensitive business. This funeral home and chapel is truly the best place I could have chosen for my daughter's funeral service. The staff was kind, compassionate, patient, they listened to our needs and concerns, and did everything as we asked. They were there for us whenever we needed them. Dorn, Charlie and Cindy are knowledgeable and seasoned professionals that handle all your needs during such a difficult time in ones life. They really go above and beyond!.

The facility and chapel were clean, elegant and inviting. It did not smell like a funeral home. It was bright and uplifting and well decorated.

Their webpage used for the Tribute, Memorial page, service streaming and purchase of flowers or donating a tree in your loved ones name, is fantastic! You must check out this feature.

We were also able to have a mini reception outside the main room, with water, fruit and food trays that we were allowed to bring in ourselves. They allowed us the extra time we needed to chat with family and friends after the service.

They also were so kind to follow up a few weeks later to see how we were doing. They forwarded mail to us that arrived some time after the funeral so we were sure to get cards from friends.

I cannot say enough about how pleased and happy I was I found this place. I highly recommend this funeral chapel to friends and family and anyone looking for real professionals who really care.

Relyea brought absolute beauty, calm and relief to our lives in an unimaginable time. From the first phone call we made with Dave, we and our daughter were well taken care of. We were lost in a time of urgency as our daughter was born stillborn, and the Relyea team provided guidance and reassurance that she was 'under their care'. That resonated with me. Because we couldn't care for our daughter at the time, I felt relief hearing someone else was ready to do so. During such a scary and distant time going on in the world with Covid-19, Relyea allowed us to hold a private viewing for our baby girl with 5 family members. We also got to have time with her each day until cremation paperwork was finalized. For two separate days other than her viewing we got beautiful healing time to be with her privately to sing to, hold, and kiss her. Time I never expected to have. THANK YOU Relyea, Charlie and Cindy for your open hearts and doors and for your professionalism and care when walking us through the details, for such beautiful modern interior design and for your patience.

Our experience with the staff Relyea was flawless. All arrangements were initiated on the phone and online as we live in another State. Photos of caskets were provided thru email.

The day before the services we arrived at their facilities and finalized the details. Dorn and staff met us with respect and compassion. They were able to support all our requests including our music and slideshow requests.

They received our catering order and set it out prior to the end of the service. Again, flawless.

I can't tell you in words how much I appreciate all of your work, planning, patience and compassion. My father's death was not a surprise, but we also didn't know so many things - most importantly how our mom would handle it. And while never easy, you made the process so much easier for all of us. Dorn, just a note to thank you - with all my heart - for the wonderful job you did on Archie and the kind and caring way you treated me and my family. Absolutely EVERYTHING could not have gone better, from beginning to end. There is not one thing I wished could have gone better. You and your employees surely know how to treat us. My "thank you" seems so small compared to all you've done for me and my family, but please know that it comes from the heart.

These wonderful people are the best...from the mortician to the secretary...they show they care about your loss and absolutely take care about everything...I would never consider anyone else to take my loved ones to...they make you feel like family.

The tender care my family and I received from the staff at Relyea during the recent death of my son was exemplary. I want to personally thank you for the services you provided for my mother as she was interred next to my father at Cloverdale Cemetery. In the process of arranging for my mother's transport from Salem, Oregon, to Boise, Idaho, I became concerned that due to circumstances, I was being financially taken advantage of. Then we talked and you explained your services and pricing. Thank you for adding humanity to this difficult process I was facing. I believe your pricing was fair. I appreciate your forthrightness. As an added bonus, you were able to help me to arrange a floral casket spray. The flowers for my mother's casket exceeded my expectations. The citizens of Boise are fortunate to have your company in their area.

I highly recommend Relyea Funeral Chapel. When my Mom passed away in October they were so helpful. Dorn met with our family and was absolutely wonderful. He even came up to my Dad’s house a month later to discuss headstones. Cindy helped design the program and was very patient with our many changes. I love how she created my mother’s timeline.
