Amanda Marie Clayton

Amanda Marie Clayton was born October 11, 1980 in Great Falls, Montana. Amanda passed away on February 10, 2021 in Boise, Idaho, at age 40. Amanda grew up in Montana until age three when her family moved to Idaho. In Idaho she fell in love with the outdoors. As a young child Amanda found love of nature in the backyard of their family home. She touched everything around her with the essence of a true flower child, filled with love for all God's creations from bees to the largest mountain tops. She had a contagious smile and laughter that once you were in contact you often felt compelled to join. There was often an innocence about her, like a time she tried making Kool-Aid in the kitchen while being caught "red handed" literally, thinking she was in trouble only to find out everyone was trying to hold back laughter at the mess she had made. Another time she was found playing with a toilet plunger by her older brother who took the brand new toilet plunger away. This prompted her to cry to her mother "Keith took the thing that kisses the door away" which mom soon found out to be the plunger for the toilet sparking laughter by all. As she grew older Amanda developed a love for Jeep’s, “the kind that go places others vehicles couldn’t not the sissy kind”. Amanda and Taylor, her youngest, spent hours “ducking” other jeeps. Amanda loved attending the temple and often found great peace there. She had a deep love fitness and was studying to become a personal trainer a nutrition coach. Amanda was always on the go and had a drive not often encountered, some might call it stubbornness but it was really just passion and dedication. In 2008 Amanda became a mother, this would become one of her greatest joys in life. Amanda loved her children deeply and was a fierce mama bear. She greatly enjoyed sharing her love for the outdoors and animals with her three beautiful children. Amanda was baptized in The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints in 2013. Amanda was married in 2013 to David Clayton together they had one daughter Taylor Clayton in 2013. She leaves behind her daughter Melanie Kerr, son Jaxon Kerr, husband David Clayton, their daughter Taylor Clayton, mother Sheila O'Meara(John P. O'Meara), brothers Keith Wirrell(Tamara Wirrell), John Icenogle(Tabitha Icenogle), nephews Cameron Pinney, Keegan Wirrell, niece Kelsie Pinney and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins. Amanda was preceded in death by Patsy Marie Stensaker(grandmother), John Icenogle(father).
