Two days after her 103rd birthday, Angelina Jensen of Boise peacefully passed away. Angelina was born November 13, 1915 in Tooele, Utah. She was the third of Pasquale and Raffaella Santarelli’s seven children. Christened Angelina, everyone knew her as Grandma Angie, Aunt Angie, or Angie. In 1925, the Santarelli family moved to Ogden, Utah where Angie later graduated from Ogden High School. On July 6, 1944 Angie married James Jensen and they relocated to Boise.
She is survived by her son, David (Carol) Jensen; three grandsons, Brent (Anne), Jerry, and Jamie (Erin); three great-granddaughters, Jessie (Darin) Jensen Goodpaster, Lauryl and Lacey Jensen; two great-great-grandchildren, Emma and William Goodpaster; her sister, Teresa Santarelli Kartchner; and numerous nieces and nephews. Angie was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, two brothers, and three sisters.
The family would like to express their appreciation for the loving care given to Angie by the staff at Grace Assisted Living and Amber Lane.
A visitation will be held at Relyea Funeral Chapel on Friday, November 23, from 6:00-7:00 p.m. followed by the rosary. The funeral service will be celebrated at 1:00 p.m. Saturday, November 24 at Relyea Funeral Chapel. The committal service will immediately follow at Morris Hill Cemetery.
