Betty Sanderson

Betty Leone Sanderson passed away Monday, January 1, 2020, at her home in Eagle, Idaho. She was born July 30, 1927, in Bird City, Kansas, to Orron Nelson and Lula Blanche (Anderson) Bettis. Betty had three sisters and six brothers.

Betty was married to Ralph Mason Sanderson on June 5, 1945, in Nampa, Idaho. They had two daughters, Suzanne and Linda. Betty spent some time in retail sales and enjoyed being a homemaker, church youth teacher, geneology researcher, and teacher.

Betty is preceded in death by her parents; brothers John Melvin Bettis, William Leroy Bettis, Francis Verlin Bettis, Ralph Glenn Bettis, Lawrence Merle Bettis, and Wesley Wayne Bettis; and sisters Phyllis Jean Bettis and Joann Duvall.

Betty is survived by sister Marian Joyce Forrey; daughters Suzanne Gail Sanderson and Linda Lee Hanson; grandchildren Tamara S. Humiston, Ryan K. Elting, and Christopher Hanson; 4 great-grandchildren; and 1 great-great-grandchild.
