Brooke Allisen Irish, age 38, passed away peacefully at her home in Boise, ID, on March 4, 2019. She was surrounded by her family and close friends.
Brooke was born on August 5, 1980 in Twin Falls, ID. She was a 2005 graduate of Boise State University, earning a Bachelor of Business Administration in finance. She pursued a career in wealth management and worked for The Caprock Group on the Operations Team. Brooke was accomplished, but her greatest success was becoming a mother to her two beautiful and brilliant children. She was a mother first and did everything with her children in mind.
Brooke truly loved life, and she was often outside living to the fullest with her kids. They loved to fish, camp, travel and adventure together as family. She also loved fitness; her dedication, determination and discipline were admired by many. When she wasn’t active outside or in the gym, Brooke could be found researching DIY home projects, enjoying a hot cup of coffee with a loved one or dreaming of a vacation to Hawaii. Brooke’s positive spirit and attitude had a way of making everyone feel loved, welcome and special.
She is survived by her two children, Jackson and Avah Stubbs; father, Brad Irish (Dixi); sister, Bethany Barela (Paul); brother, Thayne Irish; mother, Stacy Tolliver; grandfathers, Delmer Irish and Jim Howells; partner, Brian Burnett; and many extended family members.
Brooke was preceded in death by grandmothers, Francis Irish, Sally Moxley and Glenda Howells; and her uncle, Gary Irish.
Family, friends and others whose lives Brooke touched are invited to the service to celebrate Brooke’s life. The service will begin at 1:00 p.m. on March 6, 2019, at Relyea Funeral Chapel, 318 N. Latah St., Boise, ID, 83706. A graveside service will follow directly across the street at the Morris Hill Cemetery at 2:00 p.m. The family also invites guests to a reception back at the funeral chapel directly after the graveside service.
The family would like to extend a special thanks and gratitude towards all the staff at the Mountain States Tumor Institute for their great care and attention to Brooke. They would also like to mention their support and gratitude to The Caprock Group, Brooke’s employer, for the care and support they provided her.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks to consider memorial donations to Jackson and Avah’s savings accounts in Bethany Barela’s name at Capital Educators account number 8373270-0000.
