Carol Nelson Evans passed away the 11th of February, 2021.
Carol was born on March 4, 1935 in Brigham City, Utah. She was the first child of Emma Shelby Nelson and Howard D Nelson. She lived with her family in Brigham City until 1943 and then moved with them to Ogden, Utah. She attended Washington Terrace grade school and Junior High and graduated from Weber High School in 1953.
After graduation she worked as a telephone operator and then as a secretary for Mountain Bell. In 1958 she married Morgan Dee Evans in the Logan Temple. In 1959 Carol and Dee moved to Salt Lake City and remained there until 1975 when they were transferred to Grand Junction, Colorado. They lived there until 1988 when Dee was transferred to Boise, Idaho. They loved Boise and were happy to call it home ever sense.
Carol was an active member of the LDS Church and loved all the wonderful friends she made there.
Carol and Dee were the parents to three beloved children: Douglas (Jeahnene) Evans - Mesa, Colorado; Karen (Adriaan) van de Rijken - Midlothian Virginia; Holly Cawley - Boise.
Carol is survived by her husband, Morgan Dee Evans, her three children , seven grandchildren (Brandon Evans, McKenzie Hames, Krista Ellis, Evan Cawley, Lovella Rose, Morgan Cawley and Logan Cawley) and two great grandchildren (Ellis and Whitley Hames).
She is also survived by a sister, Barbara Nelson, of Ogden and a brother, Roy Nelson, also of Ogden.
