Curtis Ray Hanson, 47, of Kuna, passed away on April 14, 2019, at St. Luke’s Hospital in Boise, Idaho, surrounded by his loved ones.
Curtis was born in Twin Falls, Idaho, to Raymond Hanson and Linda Hanson Kerr on February 12, 1972. Curtis graduated from Boise High School and the University of Idaho, where he enjoyed spending time with his fraternity brothers at Delta Sigma Phi.
He married Tami Lynn Peterson on February 28, 2009, in Boise, Idaho. In 2012, they were blessed with triplets, Graysen Gene, Parker James, and Ella Lynn. In addition to enjoying his work in a variety of fields, he also enjoyed spending time with his family, playing with his children, snow skiing, water skiing, golf, and baseball.
Curtis is survived by his wife, Tami Hanson; children Graysen, Parker, and Ella; parents, Linda and John Kerr, Idaho, and Raymond and Judith Hanson, Idaho; and sisters, June Potts, Idaho, Debbie (Erik) Blake, Colorado, Lori (Marc) Miles, California, and Jackie (John) Mourer, California.
Curtis was preceded in death by his grandparents, Rosie Ambrose and Pat Otaswa; Great-Grandparent, Terry; his uncles, James Kerr, Frank Kerr, and Roy Schmidt; and aunt, Marge Lindgren.
Honorary pallbearers are his cousins, Brian Schmidt, Doug Zutter, Charlie Higbee, Justin Higbee, and friends, Jadd Oliver, Don Wade, Dennis Paul, and Ryan Fitzgerald.
Memorial services will be held at 11:00am on Saturday, April 20, 2019, at Relyea Funeral Chapel, 318 N. Latah St., Boise, Idaho. Following the service, there will be a Celebration of Life open house at Cottonwood Grille, 913 W. River St., Boise, between 1:00-4:00pm.
The family wishes to thank everyone who loved Curtis and was a part of his life.
