Cynthia W. Swanson passed away January 22, 2018, at home surrounded by family from complications of COPD. She was 59 years old.

Cynthia was born in Twin Falls, Idaho, on September 18, 1958. Her parents were Elmer and Betty Wooten. She had 3 brothers (Bob, James and Lanny Wooten) and 1 sister (Kathy Fogg).

Cynthia attended Twin Falls High School, CSI and finally BSU, achieving her master’s degree in Accounting.

Cynthia married Chuck Swanson in 1997, at which time he adopted her two children, Christopher and Katie, and Cynthia became step-mother to Brandon.

A big thank you to all of Cynthia’s friends and family that helped and stayed with her in her final days, St. Luke’s Hospital in Boise, St. Luke’s Heart Health Rehab in Meridian (her second family), and all of her doctors – too many to list.

Funeral services will be held at 11 am on Saturday, January 27, at Relyea Funeral Chapel, 318 N. Latah St., Boise, with a viewing preceding at 10 am.
