Tribute

Darlene Anderson Tolley was born July 25, 1932 in Ammon, Idaho to Lyle Marion Anderson and Hattie Beulah Singley Anderson, the sixth of nine children. Darlene grew up on a farm before her father died when she was 16 years old and she moved with her family to Idaho Falls. It was there that she met Garry Tolley and they were married September 10, 1953 in the Logan, Utah LDS temple. Darlene passed away August 6, 2018 after a brief stay at Saint Alphonsus Hospital in Boise. Darlene is survived by her husband Garry, their five children Scott, Kent, Alan, Lisa and Lee, 22 grandchildren and 52 great grandchildren. Darlene loved to paint and was a talented artist, especially in oil painting and watercolor. She also loved to play cards, which she played almost daily, and passed on her love of Pinochle and other card games to future generations of her family. She was kind and will be remembered for her strength, faith and the great love and compassion that she showed to all those who were a part of her life. She leaves an enduring legacy of love and caring and was a great example of how to treat others. She loved unconditionally and blessed the lives of all those who knew her. She will be greatly missed by friends and family alike. We love you Darlene!
