Donald Eugene Lyon Jr

Donald Eugene Lyon Jr. of Boise, Idaho, peacefully passed away at his home on Monday, March 29, 2021. He was 71 years of age. Donald was born on November 21, 1949, in San Diego, California. He attended Our Lady of the Holy Rosary Elementary School, Loara High School, and served in the Air Force from 1968-1972. Donald worked as a Medical Purchaser at Kaiser Hospital in Fontana, California, from 1974-2009. He was a proud Veteran and always donated his time to helping others who served in the military. His later passion in life was building his beloved ‘57 Chevy Bel Air. A unique soul, Donald was very witty and enjoyed life to its fullest with all of his family and friends, who will miss him a great deal. He will be laid to rest at the Idaho State Veterans Cemetery in Boise, Idaho. A celebration of life will be organized by his nephew Mark Lyon over the next few months.
