Gary Allen Nightingale

Gary A. Nightingale, age 64, a resident of Nampa, Idaho, died Friday, June 12, 2020. Gary was born to Sam Nightingale and Cathy Francis on June 21, 1955, in Crestview, Florida.

Gary spent most of his younger adult life in southern California, where he met and married Janet (Wilks) Nightingale. Gary joined the Army on February 19, 1974, where he served for three years. After the Army, Gary and Janet moved to Jorden Valley, Oregon, for a few years and then moved to Marsing, Idaho. Gary and Janet have two children, Greg Nightingale and Amy Lopez. Gary and Janet were married for 26 years.

In his later years, he met his girlfriend, Jane Westerfield, and they were together for the last 15 years of his life.

Gary is survived by his mother Cathy Francis; father Sam Nightingale; sister Linda (Bob) Gratton; children Greg (Gina) Nightingale and Amy (Brandon) Lopez; five grandchildren, Rorie, Mackenzi and Courtney Nightingale and Emma and Brayden Lopez; and several nieces and a nephew.
