Tribute to George

George was born on February 9, 1977 in Orlando, Florida. He was a fun, loving little guy who enjoyed running around and using his imagination. His adventurous streak served him well as he lived in all four corners of the United States as a child. Of the four, he preferred Florida. That is where he graduated high school, gained his love of cars, Sci-Fi and cooking, and made some life-long friends.
George’s love of cooking translated into a degree as a chef. Following graduation, George’s culinary passion continued to grow as he worked in various restaurants and country clubs. Many were lucky enough to eat George’s food before he moved to Boise in 2009.
George’s move to Idaho was centered on his family. George was a wonderful son to his parents, Elanore and Rick, a great big brother to his siblings, Yvonne, Richard and Timothy, and the best uncle to his nieces and nephews. While George did not continue cooking for profit once he moved to Idaho, he continued to share his passion by making delicious meals for his family, friends, and co-workers.
George had a creative streak which included drawing, making model cars and airplanes, and building 3D puzzles. He loved to go fishing, camping, shoot his gun, and discuss his knife collection. George enjoyed everything Sci-Fi from shows like Star Trek to the video games he played.
George was a fiercely loyal friend to all, including his Florida friends, his gaming community, and his coworkers. He was the kind of person anyone could call if they needed someone to listen without judgment or if they needed a good laugh. George told some great stories and was always ready for happy hour with family and friends.
While George passed on September 29, 2021, he will remain in our hearts for eternity. We were all blessed to know George and his memories will be forever cherished.
