Janet Lori Phelps

Janet Lori Phelps, 73, of Boise, Idaho, formerly of Pocatello, Idaho, died on December 20, 2018, due to complications with diabetes. Born June 6, 1945, in Pocatello, Idaho, she is predeceased by her parents, Clifford and Mary Metcalfe, her sister Faye Ellen and her late husband of 49 years, Richard (Dick) Arthur Phelps of Boise, Idaho.

Janet was active in her church and enjoyed the games of Skip-Bo, Wii Bowling and community activities at her apartment complex.

Survivors include her three children, Barton Richard Phelps, Robert Allen Phelps and Timothy Jason Phelps; six grandchildren, Josh, Kayla, Amanda, Jaydon, Justin and Leah; sister Gloria Metcalfe Popa; and brother Michael Richard Metcalfe.

Graveside services will be held on Friday, December 28, 2018, 11:00 a.m., at the Idaho State Veterans Cemetery, 10100 N. Horseshoe Bend Rd., Boise 83714.
