It is with great sadness that the family of Julie Jean Lamberson announces that she passed away at her home on November 24, 2017 at the age of 77 years. Julie will be forever remembered, greatly missed and survived by her loving husband of 52 years, Greg Lamberson, her son Larry Lamberson, grandson Jeremiah Lamberson, sister Fran Zarubick (husband Gary), and nieces Lisa Yacoubian (husband Eric and son Vincent) and Sara Govea. Julie was preceded in death by her father, Dr. Charles Edward Pancoast and mother Irene Pancoast. Julie was born May 21, 1940 in Los Angeles and raised in Southern California. She married the love of her life, Greg, June 15, 1965 and subsequently moved to Filer in 1973 and Twin Falls, Idaho in 1987. Julie owned and operated the successful Filer General Store and later owned the Christian Book Store in Twin Falls. After Julie retired from store ownership, she, Greg and grandson, Jeremiah, moved to Sun Valley, Idaho in 1993. Upon Greg’s retirement from UPS, the family moved to Eagle, Idaho and then settled in Boise, Idaho. Julie’s greatest joy in life was being with her family. She always looked forward to being with them and traveling to see her extended family in California. She had such an affinity for life. Her love of flowers can be seen in everything she did, whether inside or outside; they brought immense joy into her life. Julie always had a special place in her heart for people she thought needed help and did what she could to help the less fortunate. There will be a viewing for Julie at Relyea Funeral Chapel, 318 N. Latah St., Boise, on Monday, December 4, from 12:00 to 1:00 p.m.
