Linda Kerbs Olsen

Linda Olsen, age 73, of Kuna, ID, passed away peacefully on October 9, 2021, and reunited with her husband.

Linda was born on December 21, 1947, on a very snowy day, in Twin Falls, ID, to Norma
Tilley Kerbs and George Kerbs. She graduated from Twin Falls High School in 1966, then went to beauty school, and graduated in 1967, having perfected the ever infamous Beehive hairstyle.

Linda then met the love of her life, Darrell Reese Olsen, at M Men & Gleaners, and they were sealed together for time and all eternity in the Idaho Falls Temple on August 18, 1967. They continued on to have 6 beautiful children. Linda was a woman of many talents. She held various church callings in The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She enjoyed serving those around her and helped in any capacity. Her favorite out of all of them was playing the piano in primary. Linda took the name “Grandma” very seriously. She loved her grandchildren. She loved to spoil them with her incredible crocheted treasures, countless Halloween costumes, or really anything that their imagination could come up with.

Linda was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Darrell Reese Olsen, her grandson Andrew Reese Flores, son-in-law Joe Grover, and brother-in-law Max Bartlett.

She is survived by her children, DaraLynn Cypher (Chris) of Twin Falls, ID, Stephanie Young of Boise, ID, Steven Olsen of Kuna, ID, Justin Olsen (Erika) of Elk Grove, CA, Sherry Flores (Tony) of Caldwell, ID, and Jana Berejkoff (Leo) of Kuna, ID. She had 24 grandkids, Kendall Crozier, Kris Crozier, Kacie Crozier, Madisyn Young, Cameron Young, Dillon Young, Ashlee Olsen, Jolynn Olsen, Logan Olsen, Adam Olsen, Audrey Flores, Erin Flores, Elena Flores, Tony Flores, Jr, Melissa Grover, Anna Flores, Elizabeth Flores, Dakota Berejkoff, Benjamin Berejkoff, Abigail Berejkoff, Hobie Berejkoff, Beaumont Berejkoff, and Tilley Berejkoff. She was also survived by siblings Gene Kerbs of Hansen ID, Lorraine Bartlett of Hansen ID, Bill Kerbs (Gai) of Utah, and Marvin Kerbs (Sandy) of Meridian ID. 

A visitation will be held Saturday, October 16, 2021, 8:30-10:00am, at Relyea Funeral Chapel, 318 N. Latah St., Boise, followed by a graveside service at Dry Creek Cemetery at 10:30am. Light luncheon to follow at the LDS chapel at 224 E. Avalon St., Kuna ID.
