Lorna Mae Pollard, 84, of Phoenix, Arizona, passed away May 13, 2020. She was born November 4, 1935, in Elmo, Utah. She grew up in Emery, Utah, with her parents and 4 brothers.

She was married to Ralph Pollard on February 4, 1984, and between them, they have 4 children.

Lorna was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and served in numerous callings. Her favorite was helping with the Roadshows and Gold and Green Balls and other dance activities.

She loved painting, quilting, embroidery, dancing, her dogs (Bunny Bear, Sierra, Tammy and Sammy), and traveling with the love of her life, Ralph, in their RV. They traveled many places for several years. When they sold their RV, they enjoyed Phoenix in the winter and Flagstaff in the summer.

Lorna is preceded in death by her parents Bertha and Omar Oviatt and 2 siblings.

Lorna is survived by her husband Ralph; Ralph’s children, Sandra and Ronnie; Lorna’s children, daughter Terry and son Rod; 11 grandchildren; and 22 great-grandchildren.

Do to current limitations of Covid 19, there will be a private family service for Lorna at Relyea Funeral Chapel on Thursday, May 21, 2020, at 11:00 a.m. The service will be streamed live for those not able to attend.

Lorna will be buried at the Idaho State Veterans Cemetery in Boise, Idaho.

In lieu of flowers, in honor of our frontline defenders against the Covid 19 pandemic, the family suggest donations to Honor Health Deer Valley Medical Center, 19829 N. 27th Ave., Phoenix, AZ 85027, or to your local animal shelter for her love of dogs.

The service is available to view for up to 90 days following the date of the service.
