Mary Jean Davis

Mary was 85 at time of her death on November 11, 2022, and was living in Meridian, Idaho. She passed away at home after some time living with Parkinson’s disease.

Mary was born in Toronto, Ontario, Canada, on December 19, 1936, to William Wood Hunter and Jane Menzies (Walker) Hunter. The family moved to Esquimalt, British Columbia, Canada, when she was young. The family then moved to Glendale, California, and then to Sunland, where she went to Verdugo Hills High School.

Mary met Martin Davis and they were married on November 28, 1959. They raised two children, Gary William Davis and Kathryn Jean Vanderfin.

Mary is survived by her husband Martin F. Davis; children Gary William Davis and Kathryn Jean (Stephen) Vanderfin; grandchildren Anthony James Vanderfin, Matthew Eric Vanderfin, Mackenzie Spencer Davis, and Alexander Taylor Davis; along with many friends.

Services will be held at Relyea Funeral Chapel in Boise, and the interment will take place at Meridian Cemetery in Meridian. For service information, refer to Mary's tribute page at www.relyeafuneralchapel.com.
