Tribute

Michael “Crash” Joseph William Mansisidor, a man who embodied the meaning of love, kindness and goodness passed away in Elko, Nevada on May 6th, 2023, due to a tragic car accident.

Born on October 28th, 1998, in Caldwell, Idaho Michael, also known as Crash to so many, was the son of Christina and John Bradbury and Joseph Mansisidor and beloved brother to Caitlin Becker. He was a treasured Grandson, nephew, cousin, friend and best friend to countless others. Michael was a devoted family man, whose love for his family knew no bounds. Michaels unwavering support and dedication to his loved ones served as a shining example of the true meaning of family, whether you were blood related or not.

As a young child Michael gained interest in riding motorcycles and BMX and in most recent years discovered his love of snowboarding and hiking. He was a true adventurer at heart and was always seeking new challenges and pushing his limits. In the winter he’d spend countless hours snowboarding. He loved fresh deep powder and the feeling of accomplishment that it gave him to be the first one to board through it. Spring through Fall you’d find him on his bike riding at the skate park or just wherever the bike led him. A quick bike ride would more often than not turn into multiple hours at the skate park or just a “quick” 25-mile ride. If it created an adrenaline rush Michael was ready for it. His passion for these activities inspired others around him to step out of their comfort zones and embrace the thrill of adventure such as making his Sister go skydiving with him even though she is deathly afraid of heights. Nobody else but Michael could have gotten her to jump out of a plane with nothing but a piece of fabric with some rope keeping her safe.

When Michael wasn’t out adventuring, he worked for Vivint as a Smart Home Installation Technician. Michael started working for Vivint when he was just 19 and this job afforded him the opportunity to see many different parts of the United States. His first assignment for Vivint took him to Alaska for over 5 months. While there Michael really started to get into hiking and renewed his love for being out in the wilderness. Michael would pack up his backpack, grab his dog Elurra, and a friend if one was available, and head out on overnight hiking trips or camping trips.

Michael was also studying to become a home inspector. His passion for learning and his commitment to personal growth was truly inspiring. Michael wanted to ensure that everyone who was trying to either buy or sell a home got a thorough inspection of their home so they were safe from any unseen dangers as well as unexpected repairs. That’s just the kind of man Michael was, even though he might not have known you on a personal level he wanted to make sure that people were protected. Whatever he was doing he had the strong desire to only succeed.

Michael’s kindness and loving nature touched the lives of all who knew him and even those he knew in just passing. He was a true friend who offered unconditional support and who had the amazing ability to genuinely see the good in people. Michael will be missed by all of those who were fortunate enough to know him.

In the face of adversity, Michael taught us the importance of perseverance. He showed us that even in the darkest of times there is always a light to guide us forward. Michael was an example of what it means to live a life filled with love, adventure and kindness. His memory will forever be cherished and his impact on the lives that he touched will never be forgotten nor replicated. Michael was the definition of good.

“Peace I leave with you; my peace I give you. I do not give to you as the world gives. Do not let your hearts be troubled and do not be afraid” John 14:27
