Michael Andrew Peck
October 27, 2004 ~ March 11, 2023 (age 18) 18 Years Old
33 Flowers or Condolences have been shared with support of Michael's family - View on Tribute Wall
Michael Andrew Peck peacefully passed from this life on March 11, 2023 from a cardiac arrest. Michael was 18 years old.
Michael was the eldest child and only son of Andrew and Kamille (Perry) Peck. He filled their home with immense joy and was always listening to music, dancing, and singing. He loved animals and was planning on pursuing a degree to be a Vet Tech and eventually an animal breeder.
Michael was loyal and always stood up for the people he loved. He loved deeply and found family everywhere went. He loved serving everyone he met and was always giving to enrich the lives of everyone around him. He was currently working at the Albertson’s on Ustick/Five Mile where he was adored by the customers and staff for his smile, friendliness, and willingness to help them.
Michael the bravest kid we knew. His life was harder than any of us understood. He was diagnosed with CPVT, a rare life-threatening genetic heart disorder, when he was 8 years old. The event of his diagnosis was very traumatic, and yet he conquered life. Michael’s life was an inspiration to so many people in the world.
He graduated from Eagle Academy in January of 2023 and was planning to walk in their graduation this May. Despite his heart condition, that limited so many aspects of his life, he earned his Eagle Scout Award with no accommodations. In 7th grade he was nominated and was the recipient for the Mayor’s Youth Award for Lowell Scott Middle School.
Michael was survived by his parents, Andrew and Kamille, two sisters that adored him, Emma and Elizabeth (Lizzy), and a huge extended family that he loved so much. He was preceded in death by his Grandpa Denny (October 2012), and his Great-Grandma Raty (Feb 2019) and Great-Grandpa Peck (Feb 2019), all of which he adored deeply.
A viewing will be held at Relyea Funeral Home (318 N Latah St. in Boise, ID 83706) on Wednesday, March 15th from 6-7:30. A service will be held to celebrate Michael’s life on Thursday, March 16th at the Mitchell Ward LDS church building (4921 N. Mitchell Street in Boise, ID 83704) from 4:30-5:30 with a short reception to visit and share stories afterward. An intimate graveside service for close family will be held the following morning at Dry Creek Cemetery.
Our family sends our deepest thanks and love to all of the friends and family that have helped shape the man Michael was becoming. We have truly felt your love and support. Michael will leave a deep hole in our hearts, but his memory will live on forever. ‘Till we meet again, son. We love you 3000.
