Nathanial "Chaser" Jerran returned to the arms of Our Heavenly Father on August 30, 2017. He died in the home of his grandparents, Eric and Renee Miner, of Meridian, Idaho.
Chase was born June 17, 1998 at St. Luke's Hospital in Boise, Idaho. There was much joy at his birth. As the only boy in the family, Chase was taught early to respect women. He was a wonderful big brother and watched over his three sisters, London, Dilynn, and Gracie.
As a boy, he loved Superman, Power Rangers and Mr. Stretchy. Chase was bright, loving, and had a quirky sense of humor. As he grew older, his interests changed to art, music, video games and skateboarding. He was excited when Rhodes Park went in, and he loved to skate there. An exciting time for him was when he got to skate with Powell Peralta. He loved Tony Hawk, Reynolds, and any of the up-and-coming new talent. He just loved to skate.
Chase enjoyed figuring out how things worked and was considering a career in auto engineering. He left a legacy of genuine caring through his soft-hearted nature which crossed many boundaries. He was always looking after his friends and making sure they had what they needed.
Chase left us too soon and his warm and loving personality will be missed by many.
He is survived in death by his mother, Lori Deoné Jerran, his father Gilberto (Gil) Gomez, his sisters, London Miner, Dilynn Miner, Greyson (Gracie) Collinsworth-Gomez, his grandparents, Terrie Hendricks, Margarita Villaseñor, José Gomez, Eric and Renee Miner, and his cousin Stephanie DeLeury.
