Tribute

Patrick (Pat) Allen Marks passed away peacefully in his home surrounded by his children on July 1, 2022, after succumbing to an incurable illness.

Pat was born in Glasgow, Montana, on April 28, 1951. He was the second oldest of eight kids to Bill and Tina Marks. Pat and his family stayed in smaller towns in Montana where he found his love for fishing, exploring, and building things. Pat learned how to wind motors in high school and started establishing his career in the electrical field. While working at the Buffalo in Saco, Montana, in 1975, Pat met his first love, Leora. They married shortly after and started their family. Three beautiful kids later, life took Pat and Leora in different directions leading Pat and the kids to find their home in Idaho.

Pat loved having a house full of people. His house was often the hang out place for his children and their friends. They played cards, billiards, video games, and always had a small construction project going around the house. More than a house full of people, Pat prided himself in enjoying the small moments with his grandchildren creating a fun space at his home for them to play.

Pat worked as a journeyman electrician for L&K Electric for more than 20 years before opening his business, PM Industrial Electric. Pat was fortunate to retire in 2015 after he was diagnosed with multiple health ailments including the incurable diagnosis that ended his life. After retirement, he filled his days helping with various remodel projects, playing cribbage, constructing puzzles, and having lunch with his kids and friends.

A Celebration of Life will be hosted Saturday, September 17, 2022, at Noon at his home in Boise, Idaho. The family asks you to contact them directly for details and if planning to attend.
