Renee Rose

Renee Kay Rose passed away peacefully in her home surrounded by family on March 10, 2023. She was 78 years old.

Renee was born on May 25, 1944 in Ontario, Oregon to Jack and Hazel Kelly. She lived in four different places but mainly grew up in Boise, Idaho, where she graduated from Boise High School in 1962. She met her sweetheart, Kenneth Rose, in 1966, and they married in 1967. In 1976 they were sealed in the Salt Lake Temple. Together they enjoyed camping, and going on drives to search for animals (especially goats).

During her life Renee enjoyed swimming and surfing – anything in the water. She was also a lifeguard and was on a swim team. She was also very musical. She loved music and was even a part of the Boise Master Chorale for a while. She took time to see and point out the beauty in all things no matter how big or small. She was a beautiful soul and will be greatly missed by all she came in contact with.

Renee is survived by her husband, Kenneth Rose; her brother, John Kelly; her three daughters and their spouses, Angela Thomas, Lara (Jon) Glauser, and Kira (Ludwig) Stiglich; and her 17 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held Friday, March 17, 2023, at Relyea Funeral Chapel. Viewing begins at 10:00 a.m. with funeral service directly following at 12:00 p.m.
