He was my uncle for 54 years. I remember the first time I saw him 55 years ago and all the good times after that. He was always good to me and treated me with dignity and respect.
Semper fi Bob! Always faithful in whatever you did. May your posterity be so as well. Go in peace. I will miss you

My dad wanted me to let you know that he is floating a lei for grandpa on Saturday. It's tradition in Hawaii to float a lei when a loved one passes.

We were sorry to hear of your husband/dad's passing. I remember the joy he had in his love of the outdoors and how much he enjoyed talking about it. Mike and I hope you find comfort in knowing he has only passed through the veil ahead of us and he'll be waiting to great each of the family at a later date. So glad to have met Brother Tank and wish you each comfort at this hard time.

So I was thinking of your dad this morning, and about our trip to Florida all those years ago. I got to wondering if when he met St. Peter at the gate if he pulled out a small notebook with a stubby pencil asking 'how big this town was?'

...a little tongue in cheek...
