Ruth Gross Armstrong

Ruth "Ruthie" Gross Adams Armstrong was 79 Years old at her passing, in Meridian, Idaho. She died on 19 April 2022, due to a very short illness, she was otherwise, extremely healthy all her life.

Ruth was born on 18 March 1943, in Nampa, Idaho, to Florence Rachel  Gross and Lewis Ross “LR” Adams.  She attended Brigham Young University where she met Lonnie Eldon Lambson, of Ramah, New Mexico. They were married on 1 February 1963, in the Mesa, Arizona Temple. They were married for 19 years and had 5 children. Later, she earned a Bachelor of Science, in Humanities, from Brigham Young University. Ruth worked as a substitute teacher while her children were young, started a business selling Indian Jewelry and worked at Puget Power, as an executive secretary.

Ruth is survived by her children Stephanie Johnson (Brent), Monica Anderson (Elwood), Brian Paul Lambson, Jennifer Forsberg (Justin) and Anjnette Coman (Kenneth); her grandchildren, Dillon Johnson (Haley), Chloe Freeman (Ryan), Paisley Harding (Connor), Gavin Johnson, Sophia Anderson, Tiffany Anderson, Aubre- Anne Anderson, Camille Anderson, Makayla Balderas (Desmond), Jarom Lambson, Calista Lambson, Taylor Lambson, Tanner Lambson, Emma Brady (Kent), Sybil Forsberg, Wesley Forsberg, Nicholas Forsberg, Eliza Coman, Joshua Coman, Grace Coman and Isabelle Coman; and her great grandchildren Radley Freeman, Manning Freeman, Maya Freeman and Rhys Freeman; also, her brothers, Frank Adams (Lillian), Mark Adams (Karen) and Paul Adams (Kathy).

She was preceded in death by her sweetheart, James Emmett Armstrong, on 12 April 2020.  They were married on 30 December, 1997, in the Seattle Temple.

A service will be held on 30 April, 2022 at 11:00am, at 7135 N Linder Rd., Meridian, Idaho 83646
Interment will be at Cloverdale Cemetery, Meridian, Idaho.
