Shannon Marie Beck

Shannon Marie Beck passed away peacefully on December 5, 2018 surrounded by family in her home.
Shannon was born in Boise, Idaho on March 1, 1951 to Robert C. and Glenda D. Rouse. The family moved around quite a bit over the years living in Portland, OR, Las Vegas, NV, Riverside, CA, Utah and finally Boise, ID. She would always talk about growing up as a teenager in Riverside and how much fun she had there, as they were her most memorable years. However, her heart settled in Boise and after marrying Jerry L. Beck and being blessed with four children, her roots embedded deep into the heart of Boise. She has five grandchildren, of whom she would walk the earth for and loved and supported like no other. She would tell everyone, “I have the best children/grandchildren!”
Shannon is survived by her husband, Jerry; daughters, Angela (Merrill) Sharp and Lacy; son, Corey; sisters, Sandra (Dick) Fletcher and Glenda Johnson; many nephews and nieces; grandchildren, Ashley (Caleb) Lohrengel, Justin (Erina) Sharp, Harrison Sharp, Madeleine Beck, and Francis Beck.
Shannon has reunited with her brother, Robert “Bobby” Rouse; parents, Robert C. and Glenda D. Rouse; and infant son.
The family will hold a celebration of life at a later date. There will be a private family viewing and a graveside service for close friends and family.
The family would like to thank First Choice Home Health and Hospice for their kind and wonderful care they provided to our mother and wife.
