Sharon Rae Larracoechea

Sharon Rae Larracoechea, age 71, died Saturday evening, December 8th, from natural causes, at St. Luke’s surrounded by her family. Beloved wife of 42 years to Nacho Larracoechea Jr. Loving mother of Aimee, Nacho, and Mario. Cherished grandmother of Nacho, Zena, Anna, and Catalina. Devoted mother in law to Stephanie, Kacey, and Sabrina. Dearest sister of Robin Biddinger.

Sharon was a devoted educator and humanitarian. There’s no counting the amount of lives she touched during her 40+ years as a junior high educator and Foreign Language Supervisor for the Boise School District. Sharon's former students and colleagues would often approach her while she was out and about to recount fond memories or express appreciation of her. Even after her days as an educator were behind her, Sharon continued touching people’s lives through her work in housing real estate, often helping people to find their first home.

Sharon was known to put others' needs before hers. She opened her home and heart to many people in need and had a way of making everyone feel that they were part of her family. Sharon will be remembered for her selflessness and absolute devotion to friends and family. Her light will be missed but her beautiful life will be remembered forever.

A celebration of Sharon's life will be held at The Riverside Hotel in Boise, Idaho on Thursday, December 13th from 6pm-9pm.
