Sharon Kay Morris

Sharon Kay Curtis Morris, 75, of Meridian, beloved mother, sister, grandmother and friend entered into rest March 11, 2019. Sharon was born November 25, 1943, to Theron Ned and Lilly Judd Curtis, their fourth child. She was a spitfire, never-taking-anything-laying-down type of a person. She was always ready to defend and fight for her own. Sharon was loyal to a fault without guile and without conceit, even though she was beautiful. 

Sharon was the beloved wife of Gary Reed Morris, who passed in 2010. Gary and Sharon met at a market in Thatcher, Arizona, when Gary carried a tiny sack of groceries to her car. Not having got her phone number, Gary followed Sharon the next day to see where she worked, then called her office to request a date. After a two-week courtship, they married in Thatcher on April 20, 1976. Sharon was a devoted mother to her two children, Natalie and Sean Morris. She was also grandma to ten loving grandchildren.
 
Viewing will be held 5:00-7:00pm, Friday, March 15, at Relyea Funeral Chapel, 318 N. Latah St., Boise, and from 9:15-9:45am, Saturday, March 16, at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 4505 N. Linder Rd., Meridian. Services will be held at the LDS church at 10:00am. Interment will follow at Meridian Cemetery.

Sharon passed knowing that she was loved. She gathered her family around her two days before passing and said three words, "I love you." That was code for, "Thank you for all you have done for me, and I'm grateful for all of you." She was a woman of few words that carried a lot of weight. Those were pretty much the last words she spoke. We love you too, Sharon. You are free and reunited with Gary and your loved ones on the other side.
