Thyrza Jane “TJ” Lawrence, 64, of Boise, died peacefully at St. Luke’s Hospital in Meridian, Idaho, on February 24, 2020.
Thyrza was born November 25, 1955, in Boise, Idaho, to Clarence and Betty Trebilcock. She was the youngest of four children. Thyrza was a single mother raising two children when on December 11, 1981, she married James Michael Lawrence ~ her friend, the one she laughed with, lived for, dreamed with, and loved. They were married in Christ Chapel on the Boise State University campus. Jim and Thyrza were together for a little over 38 years. Thyrza initially worked for the Ginger Bread Day Care and later for U.S. Bank where she was forced to take an early medical retirement due to multiple sclerosis (“MS”). Thyrza especially enjoyed taking her grandkids to the Oregon coast where she spent many enjoyable hours until her MS made traveling impossible. Thyrza lived with MS for over 34 years with her husband by her side.
She is survived by her mother Betty; her husband James; their two children, Thyrza May Lawrence and Robert Michael Lawrence, both of Boise; eight grandchildren, Thyrza LeAnn, Michael Anthony, Brandon Ray, Cameron, Mariah, William, Mikayla, and Alycia; four great-grandchildren, Gavin, Sophia, Emma, and Evalene; and her sisters, Sherrie Hansen and Eugeneia Maycroft.
Thyrza was preceded in death by her father, Clarence Alvin Trebilcock, and her brother, Thomas Alvin Trebilcock.
