Tristan Dexter-Fox

May 21, 2000 ~ April 25, 2021 (age 20) 20 Years Old

Tribute

Tristan Michael Dexter-Fox was born May 21, 2000, in Boise, Idaho. He attended private and public schools during pre-K and elementary and for secondary attended Gem State Academy and Rocky Mountain High School.

Tristan’s love for music was inspired by his Uncle Chris (especially rap, which he also enjoyed writing). He was athletic, especially enjoying basketball, football and baseball. (Fave football team is Pittsburgh – go Steelers!) Tristan loved animals, particularly his pets Koda and Raider. Tristan enjoyed people and had a soft spot for the “unfriended.” Tristan enjoyed spending time with his brother Trevor. (One of many silly things they did together was sneak into neighborhood pools!) He loved working on cars with cousin Stephen; fishing, hunting and shooting with cousins Caden, Robert and Dustin Dexter; and eating Oreos with cousin Branden Dexter.

Tristan was employed with Sundance Fire Suppression, where he served as a certified wildland firefighter, last summer fighting the fires in northern California. Firefighting was a good fit for Tristan’s personality and strengths, and he enjoyed his work and experiences in the field.

Tristan passed away on April 25, 2021, in Boise. He is survived by his mother Nikole and her husband Ron Borello, brother Trevor, stepfather Trent Jameson, grandparents Sid and Cindy Fox and Rich and Karen Jameson, adopted grandparents Gary and Cheryl Krantz, stepbrothers Dillon and Ronnie Borello, and numerous cousins. He is predeceased by his cousin Shawnee Childress, grandfather Gary Dexter, and great-grandparents on both sides of the family.

Tristan was a special young man in so many ways and will be greatly missed by his family and friends.
