Verna Belle Stevens

Verna Belle Carrithers Stevens, 91, of Boise, passed away on January 18, 2020, in Bend, Oregon.

Verna was born in Johnson, Kansas, to John Francis Carrithers and Mary Leah Yinger on March 24, 1928. She started school in Johnson, Kansas, but her family moved to Sandpoint, Idaho, where she graduated from high school. She married Orlo William Stevens on May 21, 1949, in Boise, Idaho. She was a homemaker and a bookkeeper.

Verna is preceded in death by her husband Orlo William Stevens, son John Alexander Stevens, great-granddaughter Angela Mireya Stevens, her siblings and her parents.

Verna is survived by her sons Robert Orlo Stevens, Ray William Stevens, Bradley J Stevens, and Gregory Lee Stevens, 19 grandchildren, 49 great-grandchildren, and 1 great-great grandchild.
