Yvonne L Taylor

Yvonne was born October 23, 1944 in Ogden, Utah. She grew up in Lewiston and Boise and attended Boise High School. She was the third youngest of eight children. She married Ben Taylor in 1962, and they remained faithfully devoted to each other for 55 years. They had two sons and enjoyed many good years picnicking, camping, fishing, and even motorcycling across the desert. Ben’s work took them to Evanston, Wyoming for two years and then San Bernardino, California for three years, but Boise was always home. Being a wife, mother, and grandmother were her top priorities. She was a wonderful cook and homemaker. She took pride in keeping an immaculately clean house. She loved growing tomato plants and flowers. She liked old movies and time with family. She especially loved being with her grandchildren and attended many dance performances and soccer games. Yvonne Lee Taylor passed away on July 4th, 2018 from cardiac arrest, surrounded by her family.

She was preceded in death by her son Lonnie. She is survived by her husband Ben; her son Brian (Mary Karol) of Boise; grandchildren Ava (16), Soren (14) of Boise, and Oliver (27) of Australia.

A memorial service will be held Wednesday, July 11, 2018, at 6:00 p.m., at Relyea Funeral Chapel, 318 N. Latah St., Boise, with a reception following.
