Charlie started his career at Relyea Funeral Chapel in the fall
of 2005. He’s been married to Sarah since 2001 and has four wonderful children.
Charlie serves as a member of the Idaho Funeral Service Association and the
Idaho State Board of Morticians. He continues to be actively involved with his
local church.
In Charlie’s free time, he enjoys spending quality time with his family, reading, being outdoors, and enjoying good food.
Funeral Planning Advisor
Derk started at Relyea Funeral Chapel in 1993 as a pre-planning advisor, helping families their desired arrangements ahead of their time of need.
Derk is a native Idahoan. He was born in Burley, was raised in Cambridge, and is now living in Melba. His parents are Lynn and Jeanne Heiner of Melba, Idaho.
Derk married Lisa L. Lenz in 1985. They have five children and seven grandchildren.
Derk's hobbies and interests are his family, waterskiing, basketball, horseback riding and training horses.
Administrative Assistant / Ambassador
Erin joined
the Relyea family as an ambassador and administrative assistant in 2021 after
working for several years in event planning and coordination in Southern
California. She is deeply passionate about serving and uplifting others and
finds peace in serving families in their time of need.
Erin enjoys spending time with her family, attending church, playing guitars and singing, face painting, road tripping, and taking in the nature and wildlife of the beautiful Boise foothills and mountains.
Funeral Director Intern
Andrea
has been a part of the Funeral profession since 2008. She has a passion for
helping others especially during times of grief and loss. She is married with 3
daughters and 3 dogs who keep her very busy.
In
her free time, she enjoys traveling with family, cycling and painting.
Funeral Director
Michael has been in the funeral industry for over 25 years. Michael received his associates of Mortuary Science from Mount Hood Community College in June of 2000. After graduation he moved back to Boise and had the opportunity to move back to Portland to continue his career in 2002. Michael moved back to Boise in December of 2023.
In his free time, you can find Michael spending time with his three children, Nicholas, Peightynn and Brees. They like to watch movies, play video games, or go for walks by the river. He also likes to listen to pod casts, read, and watch his beloved Red Sox.
Michael is committed to serving families during their time of need due to a loss of a loved one. He finds it rewarding helping a family during a difficult time.
Administrative Assistant / Family Services Coordinator
After concluding a 23-year career at a water company, Linda
transitioned into the funeral service industry. Starting as a transporter in
2018, she progressed to a sister funeral home in 2022. Linda joined Relyea
Funeral Chapel in August 2023, taking on the responsibilities of administrative
assistant and family services coordinator.
In her leisure, Linda enjoys her classic cars and curates an intriguing collection of antique oddities. She also loves cooking and cherishes moments spent with close friends.
Funeral Planning Advisor
Christen brings a vast and varied experience in advance planning of final arrangements. As a Boise native, he is well connected in the area as a “go to” resource. He is well connected in the community working with families, seniors, AARP, and our Veterans.
In his spare time, you can find Christen enjoying his motorcycle, kayak, or bicycle and leading his friends and family on the next great adventure.

Hunter is an outdoor enthusiast with a passion for hunting and fly fishing. When he's not exploring the outdoors, he's dedicated to his role in the insurance industry, specializing in helping folks set up their funeral prearrangements. With a genuine desire to assist and support others, Hunter finds fulfillment in helping people navigate through important decisions and ensure peace of mind for themselves and their loved ones.
Combining his love for the outdoors with his professional endeavors, Hunter brings a unique perspective to his work, emphasizing the importance of preparedness and protection in all aspects of life.
With a strong commitment to professionalism and integrity, Hunter is known for his reliability, empathy, and dedication to serving others. Outside of work, you can find Hunter spending time with his wife Lillie, baby girl Scout and bird dog, Moose.
