Whitney Marie White, 14, of Caldwell, ID, passed away peacefully in her home on Tuesday, August 15, 2017, bringing her courageous battle with cancer to a close.
Whitney was born on December 18, 2002 in Pocatello, ID, to Benjamin and Holly White. She is survived by her parents, Ben and Holly, her four sisters, Kelsie, Brooke, Alexa and Samantha, loving grandparents, 9 uncles, 8 aunties and 21 cousins.

She attended Sage Valley Middle School where she was in 8th grade. Whitney was very smart without effort and good at everything she tried. She loved music, played the flute and was learning the ukulele. Whitney loved soccer, reading, drawing, sewing, painting, all arts and crafts, goal setting, photography, videography, baking, making YouTube videos and teasing her little sisters, of course. Whitney had a contagious sense of humor and loved laughing and being silly, living life as a game to enjoy. Whitney reminds us that “Life is too important to take seriously.”

Funeral services will be held at 10:00 am, Monday, August 21, 2017 in the Caldwell East Stake Center, located at 11792 Linden Rd., Caldwell, ID. The family will greet friends on Sunday evening at the Stake Center from 6:00 – 7:30 pm, and on Monday from 9:00 – 9:30 am; private family time from 9:30 am to service time. Interment will follow in the Canyon Hill Cemetery. Services are under the direction of the Relyea Funeral Chapel, Boise.
