Capson, Hyrum Dean, 83, of Boise, passed away Tuesday, March 21, 2017 at his home of natural causes.
Hyrum was born on July 30, 1933 to John Lithgow Capson and Gladys Eleanor Walters Capson in Salt Lake City, UT. Thirty-four years later, he met the love of his life Joyce Helen Swain on March 31, 1967 in Vernal, UT. He proudly provided for his family by working in construction as a framer and roofer for thirty years. After retiring from construction, Hyrum took a job repairing washers and dryers. When he was not working, Hyrum enjoyed hunting, four wheeling, and spending time with family.
Hyrum is survived by his children: Vickie Gibney, Danny (Kate) Pace, Dwayne Pace, and Travis (Sheri) Capson. His Grandchildren: Tyler, Justin, Nick, Cooper, Violet, Addison, Hallie, Cole. His Great-Grandchildren: Jake, Jaden, Conner. And three of his siblings: Lamar Capson, Richard Capson, Eleanor Pratt.
Hyrum is proceeded in death by his wife; Joyce, his parents; and four of his siblings; John, Wayne, Roland, and Eva.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, April 1, 2017 at the LDS Chapel located at 6180 W Cassia St, Boise. Interment will immediately follow the service at Dry Creek Cemetery.
